Since the dawn of time, there has always been something to spin the world upon its axis, something more malevolent, more vile and tinged with evil than the world had previously experienced. As the decades went by, more and more of it seemed to seep through the roots of the earth, tainting the land with an ominous presence that has now found itself planted deeply within a group known as Akatsuki. Years past, the organization had tested their secrecy by making a move in the very heart of Konoha’s civilization, even doing so as much confronting one of the Sannin in the process. Because of their flaunting behavior, the world soon caught on to what the organization was truly after, the Bijuu locked away within the bodies and souls of shinobi across the globe. Before, they had been looked upon as nothing but filth, monsters in their own right, though as the Akatsuki grew more feverous in their actions, the countries held tight to the treasures they had only recently thrown away.

Though of course the organization grew weary of the attention they had inquired, it seemed that after the incident in Konoha, a time of silence was well underway. As Konoha braced itself for yet another invasion from the red clouds, it seemed they had vanished all together in a puff of smoke, as if they were nothing but a dream, locked away in the nightmares of the men and women who had seen them on that terrifying day by the river. While Akatsuki slept, the world grew anxious, and thus training had begun. Throughout Konoha, changes were being made, the death of Sandaime Hokage had caused a ruckus, and a new leader, Tsunade was chosen soon after to ease the commotion in the village. As preparations continued, shinobi everywhere gathered and worked together to ease their plight. Some took on journeys to grow stronger; others grew up mentally, and physically. And some took it upon themselves to be brave in the face of danger, to never turn back from what was important, that was their ninja way.

And, as soon as the world turned their shoulders to Akatsuki, a group that now seemed as real as illusions in the water, panic struck once more in Suna. After several years of peace without any form of conflict, simply prosperity, the organization had made its move once more. With the abduction of the Kazekage and the theft of the bijuu he held within, it was quite obvious that the threat they had dismissed years ago was back, and more terrifying than ever. However, Konoha, always up to the challenge, sent a group of several shinobi, including the Kyuubi child as well, to deal with the chaos in Suna. And, to the world’s surprise, the first Akatsuki was killed, the other had flown the coop after the efforts of all the shinobi came through, though to little surprise, the bloodshed was indeed far from over.
